Glebich

Dj Glebich was born in a family of professional musicians and spent his childhood following his parents in planes and concert halls while they played rehearsals and concerts. This boy simply could not stay as simple and ordinary as others, so he followed his roots and started doing bass classes. In a year he got to realize he was fed up with bass and as he was so talented and simply could not kill this gift so he started doing drums. When he finished with drums (oh, these gifted geniuses – me), he changed it to piano. Other words, we all know who children prodigies are. They want to learn the whole world at the same time. In the end of this great searching, young DJ Glebich made a final choice and stopped on permanent playing contrabass. Contrabass sound filled his heart with voluminous and deep notes as he realized he made a great choice. And he was right about it. Young prodigy played jazz music and accompanied his father as they were travelled all over the world and mostly Europe. They won international competitions and got grants. All these facts sound awesome and fascinating but remember, we deal with a gifted person. At this time he started to compile music as he had tones of vinyl records in his parents’ collection.  His first steps in electronic music were lounge, acid jazz and hip-hop music. Time passed by and dropped his life to Germany where he met minimal techno and fell in love right at that moment. He understood that the concept of minimal techno rhythm reminded him of tango notes and beats and gave him all that he was looking for in music.

This wonder filled his soul with happiness and serenity. It was his new language he applied for and used it perfectly.
Back to Germany, year 2002. As a result of all his vinyl experiments young Glebich did his first steps performing his music at Hatmus Club events in Stuttgart and Berlin.
As many men have, his ratio told him to stop playing and to get back to ordinary life so what he did. He spent few years working as a white collar but his trembling soul wanted more and much more. His soul wanted to live with the music and beauty of colors music brought, gifts could not stay in prison.  And luckily he found soulmates and went on playing with them in night clubs.

Year 2006, Moscow, Russia. DJ Glebich organized Club Music Forum 2006 and collaborated with many Russian booking agencies. In a while he got to realize show business made his music commercial and decided to quit in the name of Music, real Art creation.

Again life gifted him with people he met. DJ Ikea Boy was the person who perfectly fit Glebich’s format and desire to promote minimal techno music. As they did the first party together this couple understood the uniqness and perfect congress of being a duet so what they did further.
They created DESTROY MINIMAL community which helped young and talented minimal DJs to show their skills and to promote this new stream to masses organizing parties and events up to these days. Today DJ Glebich works with many young and talented musicians, compiles sets for radio shows and makes us happy with his new prodigy sets and projects.
