<p>In 2000, Detsl has made his debut in the largely underground and unknown Russian rap scene with the album "Who Are You" ("??? ???"). He also took part in a Pepsi advertising campaign. In 2001, he released his second album, "Street Fighter". After working for 3 years, Detsl released "Aka Le Truk", his third record, in 2004. The name is also referring to the fact that he somewhat changed his performing name to "Le Truk". This album showcases growth and a major shift in style for Detsl, as he stopped working with his father and had more freedom and indepencence with the material. Detsl's fourth and latest album "MosVegas 2012" has been released on January 4, 2008</p><p>Detsl rapidly shot to fame after his song, called "Tears," won the hearts of teenagers nationwide. The song was about love, problems in school, and fights with parents. But while he's adapted an American musical genre to Russia, Detsl says his personal goal isn't simply to copy Americans. He wants to develop rap that taps the Russian soul.</p><p>If, in the past, Russians wallowed in Western simplicity, today they hear discord and complexity such as Detsl.</p><p>"I want others to accept me as a street guy who lives his own life, who has his own opinions and wants them to be expressed."; <br>"The more real I'll be in my songs - the more problems of my generation I can express from the screen; the more honest I'll be to myself and to those who are listening to me."</p><div style="clear: both"></div>
